Scaffolding is a smooth and prompt process that offers students support until they can independently apply new skills and strategies. As students start to show mastery, the aid or support is gradually reduced, shifting the learning responsibility to the students.

edaptAI’s teaching approach is driven by our unique ‘Recursive Bi-Directional Scaffolding’ algorithm. This algorithm effectively identifies and bridges knowledge gaps through seamless scaffolding and timely remediation.

Our research into Scaffolding and Remediation, which informs our pedagogy, was inspired by ‘Using Scaffolded Instruction To Optimize Learning’ by Martha Larkin (2002).
